Our mission

Transforming lives through education, care, and opportunity.

What began as a small grassroots effort is now growing into a sustainable, long-term mission — bringing hope to children and communities in Kakuma, Kenya.

Kakuma is home to thousands of vulnerable children, many without access to consistent education, safe learning environments, or daily meals. We believe education is one of the most powerful pathways to lasting change.

What we do

Four programs. One goal.

Every gift — large or small — has immediate impact through four interconnected programs in Kakuma.

01

School sponsorship

Funding fees, uniforms, transport, and mentorship for 50 children across primary and secondary schools in Kakuma.

02

Daily meals

Providing lunchtime meals to young village children, often their only reliable food during the day.

03

Early learning

Two trained volunteer teachers delivering foundational education to children in surrounding villages.

04

Mentorship & care

Ongoing support from TNCH social workers who visit students at school and walk alongside their families.

Lives being transformed

Real children. Real change.

Milly Sharon Akuuta

Kabokorit Primary School

Once a street-connected child at age 8, Milly is now thriving in primary school through sponsorship — in safe foster care, learning, and full of hope.

"She finally has a place where she is known, fed, and taught."

Leah Amojong

Bachelor of Education

Having progressed through TNCH sponsorship all the way to university, Leah is training to become a teacher.

"My dream is to inspire students, give back to my community, and support other needy children just as I was supported."
Our vision

From learning under a tree to a permanent school.

We are working towards establishing a dedicated school in Kakuma — a safe, structured space where children can consistently learn, eat, and grow.

Stage 1 — Immediate need

Fund a temporary classroom: shelter and a safe place for children to learn today.

Stage 2 — Long-term vision

Develop a permanent school facility to expand access to quality education for the wider community.
